Established in 2011 by visionary foreign national of Ethiopia origin, Leadstar College of Management and Leadership is one of the private Higher Education Institutions (HEI) in Ethiopia. Commencing in providing education and training in the undergraduate in distance modality, soon after its establishment, the college started graduate program in Master of Business Administration, a joint program offered with Ashland University based in Ashland, Ohio, USA through a Cross Border Higher Education distance learning model.
